United, whose coaching staff already includes Bryan "Nipples" Butcher and Benny "no formal relation with the Brett" Stanchfield, unveiled Holla in a low-key media event at Braefoot Park.
"We are extremely indifferent about this capture" Butcher was quoted as saying, "but beggars can't be choosers."
Holla refused to be drawn on speculation earlier this month when asked if he was going to United: "I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow let alone next season."
Scott Rimek, part of the backdoor staff, seemed excited about the acquisition: "I could have been playing World of Warcraft. Why am I here?"
